Bio: A journalist since the last 40 years,Bhagwan Datar has worked in several reputed Dailies in Maharashtra like Kesari, Loksatta, Lokmat, Prabhat to name a few. He has completed Ministry of Defence's "War Correspondence" Course successfully. He visited Ayodhya during the Babri-Masjid crisis and wrote about it extensively in his series "Sharayu Teerawarun" in Loksatta which became quite famous. He also has had the opportunity of being the editor of Tarun Bharat,Pune. Two of his books - "Becoming Indian" and "Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel" have been awarded by the Maharashtra Granthottejak Sanstha,Pune ! His other books too have been attracting rave reviews. His latest - "Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw" and "Operation Blue Star" are topping the bestsellers charts all over. Currently working for the Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini, he is based in Mumbai.
