here, I wish to share a short profile of mine with all the readers :

 

A journalist since last 40 years.

Worked in several reputed Dailies in Maharashtra like Kesari, Loksatta, Lokmat.

Was the Editor of Tarun Bharat, Pune.

Was jailed in Emergency for the fight for the freedom of expression.

Covered Parliament as a special correspondent.

Completed 60 Days “War Correspondence” Course organized by Ministry of Defence.

Covered Ayodhya episode during the Babri-Masjid crisis and wrote series “Sharayu Teerawarun” in Loksatta.

Travelled extensively to cover West Bengal and Bihar Assembly Elections in 1986/87.

Visited Punjab to cover the release of Terrorist from Jodhpur Jail.

Interviewed leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Nanaji Deshmukh, Shankarrao Chavan, Jyoti Basu, Subhash Ghishing, Sharad Pawar, Vithalrao Gadgil, JagMohan, Suresh Prabhu, Subramaniam Swami and many others.
